Question Personalization in Blue

What is Question Personalization?

Question Personalization (QP) provides instructors the opportunity to add additional questions to their feedback questionnaire. Each instructor may select up to nine (9) questions. The selection process occurs during the two (2) weeks prior to the feedback questionnaires opening to students (i.e., weeks 9 and 10 in a standard 12-week course).

Please note:

  • The process is entirely optional. Each individual instructor may choose to add questions or not.

  • QP is not available for paper-based questionnaires due to technical limitations.

  • QP is not available to TAs.

  • Questions must be selected from the available bank. The bank is available for you to review at any time.

  • Responses to QP questions are only available to the instructor. They are never included in reports to chairs.

How do I complete Question Personalization?

  1. Two weeks prior to the opening of the questionnaire to students, you will receive an automated email from Student Feedback Admin (sfqadmin@uoguelph.ca) alerting you to the opening of the QP window. Depending on the number of courses you are teaching, you will either be taken directly to the QP page or asked to select the course you wish to add QP questions to. Additionally, you can login directly to Blue and select the appropriate task from the Tasks list.
