Update a Mapping in SFQlink

Introduction

A crucial component of the SFQ service is providing Blue with accurate data. There may be an instance where you have mapped a course but the instructional team later changes. SFQlink allows SFCs to make updates to mapped courses to reflect these changes.

The Update a Mapping area also provides SFCs with a CSV download to assist you with the verification of data for the semester.

Please Note: Any updates made in SFQlink will not immediately synchronize with Blue. Any changes will be available the following day. (e.g., a change made on Monday will be available in Blue on Tuesday.)

 

Accessing SFQlink

SFQlink can be accessed from the following url: https://sfqlink.opened.uoguelph.ca/ 

Sign in with your organizational account credentials.  

Note: If you are already signed into an account for your email, you may need to switch accounts. If you receive an error message, please sign out and then sign back in with the appropriate credentials. 

You will be able to confirm your account at the top of the landing page. 

 

Update a Mapping

  1. On the landing page are two options: create a mapping or update a mapping. Select Update a mapping.

  1. On the next page, you will be presented with a list of courses you have mapped. The list can be sorted by term or mapping name. Additionally, you can Filter by Semester to only review your current mappings.

  1. Users: This area confirms the total number of instructors and/or TAs associated with a mapping. To update the Instructors and TAs associated with a course, click the pencil icon.
    1. From here you can add users from CourseLink or the Central Directory as well as remove Users previously associated with the course.
    2. Once the list has been updated, select Submit to save your changes.
  2. Sections: This areas confirms the number of sections, including lab/seminar sections, associated with a mapping. To update the Sections grouped for a questionnaire, select either the plus icon to add sections or the trashcan icon to remove sections.
    1. On the following screen, either select or deselect the appropriate section(s).
    2. Once the list has been updated, select Submit to save your changes.
  3. Paper: This area confirms the delivery method for the questionnaire. No indicates the questionnaire will be delivered online. To update the questionnaire delivery format, select the pencil icon for the mapping in question. Note: Changing from paper to online or the opposite during the survey period will result in data loss. The new selection will be the only report available.
    1. On the following screen, update the selection to No if the questionnaire should be delivered online. Update the selection to Yes if the questionnaire should be delivered on paper.
    2. Once the list has been updated, select Submit to save your changes.
  4. OVC Phase Course: This area indicates if the mapped course is part of Phases 1, 2, or 3 of the Veterinary Medicine program. If you believe the course has been misassigned, please reach our to CourseLink Support for assistance.
  5. Survey Dates: This section indicates when the questionnaire is to run. To update the survey dates, select the pencil icon for the mapping in question.
    1. On the following screen, you can update either date.
    2. Once your update has been made, select Submit to save your changes.
  6. Mapping: To delete a mapping, select the trashcan icon under Mapping for the correct evaluation. You will receive a prompt confirming the deletion before it is removed.
