Zoom
What is Zoom?
Zoom is a video conferencing tool that can be used by an instructor to deliver online lectures, meetings, and recordings.
As Zoom provides a live stream of a lecture or meeting, it allows for a higher level of engagement. Students can ask questions to the instructor or their peers, through the chat room, as the meeting is going on. The instructor is also able to share their screen with the rest of the class which can make delivering and understanding information a lot easier. The student is also able to use a “raise hand” button which will notify the instructor. Students can then unmute their mic to communicate with the instructor.
