McGraw-Hill Connect’s CourseLink Integration

When the integration is setup between McGraw-Hill Connect and your CourseLink course site you will want to modify your course homepage to add the McGraw-Hill Connect (DI) widget. This widget allows you to connect your account and course site to the Connect textbook you are using.

Once your course site has been connected, you will need to create an External Learning Tool link to McGraw-Hill Connect in your content area. By clicking that link. students will be able to access their assignments on the McGraw-Hill Connect platform without the need to create a new login. They will be taken directly to their account to begin work within Connect.

Connect will also auto-generate a gradebook column in CourseLink to store the results of any online activities provided within Connect. Those Connect results can be synced with the grade items created in CourseLink to be used as part of your course site’s Final Calculated Grade.

Availability

If you have made arrangements with McGraw-Hill to use one of their textbooks for your course that has the Connect version available, then you will be able to integrate that textbook with CourseLink.

Please contact McGraw-Hill for more information.

Since resources such as McGraw-Hill Connect often involve an added expense for students taking your course, it is advisable to check with your department before deciding to use it.

How to Enable

If it is the first time you are using McGraw-Hill Connect for a specific course, then the CourseLink support team will need enable access to this integration for that course site.
