Just a note that the first button (or buttons if the answer relates to multiple tools) below should be updated with the URL and title of the related tool.

The button text should just read the name of the tool (i.e. Notifications or Discussions or Quizzes). The url must be manually entered as /instructors/courselink/tools/content/<toolname>. (replace <toolname> with tool: i.e. “/instructors/courselink/tools/content/notifications”). If you are unsure of the tool page’s url, please check the link on this page:

Set the Tags for:

  1. The tool name (i.e. Notifications, Discussions, Quizzes, etc.). If tagged correctly, the FAQ will auto-populate to the summary block on the corresponding tool page.

  2. Select AT LEAST ONE Relevancy option: All Year, Semester Start, Semester End, Mid-semester (i.e. If an FAQ if most relevant only during semester start and mid-semester, choose both options.)

Set ONE audience category:

  • Audience: All, DE, or F2F (All implies that the FAQ is relevant to both DE and F2F instructors)

Don’t forget to set the post to published when ready.

You must also update the URL via the Options tab. It should be: instructors/courselink/faqs/content/[title-of-post]
