Availability

CourseLink Support is available to instructors, teaching assistants, staff, and students affiliated with the University of Guelph or University of Guelph-Humber.

CourseLink Support is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM through 8:30 PM as well as on Saturdays and Holidays (such as Labour Day, Civic Holiday, Canada Day, etc.) between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and on Sundays from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM (all times are Eastern time). It does not operate during the University of Guelph’s Holiday Shutdown Period, which typically occurs at the end of December and beginning of January.


Staff

CourseLink Support operates with full-time staff members from Monday to Friday between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Those staff members will be able to assist with issues related to CourseLink or other supported teaching and learning technologies.

All remaining hours of operation for CourseLink Support are staffed by part-time staff members. Part-time staff members will be able to assist with many issues and questions pertaining to the CourseLink learning management system. However, for complex issues there may be a need to forward your issue or question to a full time staff member to address at a later time.

Email

Emails sent to courselink@uoguelph.ca are assigned a ticket number. You should receive a reply back within minutes of sending your email to CourseLink Support indicating that the email was received along with a ticket number. 

Your ticket number will help CourseLink Support quickly identify your issue. If you call in with a follow-up question or to check on the status of your request, please have that ticket number handy.

CourseLink Support will do its best to answer any emails received within 24 hours. However, during busy periods (such as the start or end of a semester) a response may take more time.

Both lines are answered by the same staff at the CourseLink Support office in Guelph. 

If the support staff are unable to answer your call, you may leave a voicemail message. The CourseLink Support team will return your call at the earliest opportunity. Alternatively, you may call back at another time or send an email instead.

 

In-person

The physical CourseLink Support office in Day Hall is only open between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM Monday to Friday.

Please call ahead before coming in to ensure the CourseLink Support team will available and able to assist you with your issue in-person. Staff is limited and during busy periods there may be a need schedule a time to come in.

More in-depth requests for assistance with educational technologies may need to be redirected to an Instructional Technology Specialist for a consultation.
