Turnitin (Dropbox Integration)

What is the Turnitin Dropbox Integration?

Turnitin is a cloud-based solution with capabilities in originality checking and online grading using their OriginalityCheck and GradeMark tools. Your instructor may use Turnitin in your courses to ensure academic integrity and to provide feedback to dropbox submissions.

Consult your course information and your instructor about how Turnitin may be used in your particular course.

Accessing the Turnitin Dropbox Integration

The Turnitin Dropbox Integration is part of your Dropbox tool, which appears on the default navigation bar of your CourseLink course site and can be accessed directly from that link.

For Distance Education (DE) courses, the Dropbox link appears under the drop-down menu of the Tools link on the navigation bar (provided that the course is using Dropbox).

Using the Turnitin Dropbox Integration

If a dropbox folder in your course is using the Turnitin tools, there will be an icon next to that dropbox. A submission needs to be made to a dropbox before it can be evaluated by Turnitin; refer to the details of your course assignments for expectations for submitting assignments for Turnitin review.

After a file has been submitted (if your instructor is making them available to you), you can click on your submissions, and click on your Turnitin score to review your similarity details .
