Gradescope Support

About Gradescope Support

Gradescope is supported by OpenEd through the CourseLink Support team and the Instructional Technology Specialist team.

If you have a technical question about how Gradescope works, please contact CourseLink Support for assistance.

If you need support adapting an existing assessment or creating a new assessment using the Gradescope platform, please connect with the Instructional Technology Specialist (ITS) team to book a consultation.

Scanning Support

Scanning for single-page Gradescope bubble sheets is available at the CCS Help Desk in Johnston Hall. If you have a question about the CCS Gradescope Bubble Sheet Scanning Service, please contact the CCS Helpdesk.

If you are scanning your bubble sheets yourself via your department’s scanner and need assistance, please contact your department administrator to see what supports are available for the printer/scanner.

Support Documentation

OpenEd has several support resources available online for Gradescope. To view a list of available resources, please visit the Gradescope section of the Supported Learning Technologies page on this website.

Gradescope also provides their own comprehensive and searchable Help Centre with resources for both instructors and students. Please note that this site will not include any information specific to UofG processes involving Gradescope such as CourseLink integration or the CCS Gradescope Bubble Sheet Scanning Service.

Programming

Gradescope sessions are also available as part of the ITS team’s instructor programming. Please check the events page of the Remote Teaching & Learning website to explore current offerings.

You may also wish to visit the Get to Know Gradescope series page to review recordings from introductory sessions for Gradescope and various assignment types held during W22.

Additional Gradescope Support Resources

If you are just starting out with Gradescope, you may want to explore the Get Started page on Gradescope’s Help Centre site. This page includes many short videos covering various assignment types and assessment features.

A list of FAQs is also available on the Gradescope Help Centre.

If there is a beta feature available for Gradescope that you would like to enable for your Gradescope course, please contact their support team (help@gradescope.com) and include a link to your Gradescope course (not your CourseLink course).

Supported web browsers and operating systems

Gradescope supports a variety of web browsers and operating systems. For the most up-to-date information, please review the following Gradescope resource: What browsers does Gradescope support?
