CourseLink LMS Roles

For Instructors

CourseLink has a variety of roles that can be assigned to users at the course-level to determine how much (or how little) access they will have to that course site. Choosing the right role for the right user is important and the information on this page will help you make an informed decision when choosing a role.

Roles for non-students are assigned at the course site level via the Classlist tool’s Add Participants option.

Instructor Roles

Within the CourseLink Learning Management System (LMS), there are two distinct instructor roles intended for use by face-to-face instructors and Distance Education (DE) instructors. There is also one utility role (Instruct-copy) that serves a specific purpose.
